Enhancing Faith Institutions was invited by the SHRINEs Project week to visit the beautiful and spiritual town of Assisi in Italy from 25th - 27th November 2024. EFI Director Presents at UN Conference on Protecting Places of Worship EFI Director Shaukat Warraich spoke at the UNOCT/UNAOC Parliamentary Policy Dialogue in Istanbul, Türkiye, in May 2024. He discussed the EU-funded SOAR project and the Mosque Security programme in the UK, Nordics, and EU, highlighting community resilience, partnerships with state institutions, self-protection awareness, and leadership development.
