The launch of the new online publication of the ODIHR resource Understanding Anti-Christian Hate Crimes and Addressing the Security Needs of Christian Communities: A Practical Guide. This Guide is the latest in a series of ODIHR publications that address hate crimes and the security needs of religious or belief communities, including the Practical Guides on the security needs of Jewish and Muslim communities.
This Guide includes recommendations to strengthen the response to anti-Christian hate crimes, reinforce the cooperation between state authorities and Christian communities, and address the security concerns including of numerically smaller or less-established Christian communities.
Enhancing Faith Institutions had some input in the development of the guide with fellow experts across OSCE, and the SOAR Project is proudly referenced as good practice and points of learning related to security and protection throughout the guide.
