Security Training for Faith Institutions

Enhancing Faith Institutions’ (EFI) Protective security training for places of worship outlines the risks your faith institution’s building and congregation may face, how to protect yourselves against them and how to mitigate and minimise any harm in case of an attack in/against your place of worship.

EFI has been providing support and training to Faith Institutions across the world for a number of years. Currently, EFI are the lead coordinators on the EU-funded SOAR (Strengthening the security and resilience of at-risk religious sites and communities) project with European partners, supported by the European Commission, working across 7 European countries to provide protective security training and support to places of worship.

We have worked with various Faith Based Establishments, Councils, other faith security groups, Governmental departments, as well as the EU Commission to provide our bespoke security advice and training to the management of these institutions, to increase both awareness and preparedness against any potential security risks.

Our aim is to ensure Places of Worship have the right security measures in place to protect their congregations and their physical premises from harm, and ensure that all people can perform their acts of worship without any fear.
